Question #1 - What hands are best to have?

The best hand to have is a Royal Flush. This is very hard to get, as you can imagine. The order of winning hands, from highest to lowest is:

Royal Flush
Straight Flush
Four of a Kind
Full House
Flush
Straight
Three of a Kind
Two Pair
Pair

Question #2 - How do I know which cards to discard?

Which cards to keep and which to discard is the biggest question in all games of poker. You have to look at what cards you hav,e and decide what winning combinations you can make from them, as well as what you may be able to make if you get the right cards in the next draw. One good rule is that i fyou have anything in your hand that will pay, keep that and discard the remaining cards to try and get something that will make the win even bigger.

Question #3 - What is the lowest hand that I can win on?

The lowest hadn you can win on depends on which game you are playing. Some games have a minimum of a pair of Jacks or better, while some will pay for a single Jack. It's best to check the pay table of the game to make sure of what each game pays out before you start playing so that you know exactly what you need ot aim for to win.
