Playing video poker is a lot like playing normal poker, with one big difference. You are only playing aginst yourself. There are no other people playing the round with you, not even a dealer, so the only person you are trying to beat is yourself.

When you have chosen an amount to bet, you will be dealt 5 cards. These cards are your starting hand.
